The technology of positioning and rotating fishing device for drill pipe fracture is an importanttechnology for solving the problem of fishing drill pipes with drill bits, and avoiding the impact of drill pipe slippingand tilting on the construction period. Based on the performance characteristics of the vertical shaft drilling rigequipment in Kekegai Coal Mine, a scheme of using an internal expansion fishing tool to salvage broken drill pipeswas first proposed. After multiple attempts, no results were achieved, and the reasons for the above problems wereanalyzed. Secondly, the scheme of using the positioning rotary fishing device to salvage the broken drill pipe wasput forward, and the field test was carried out. It was found that the drill pipe was aligned smoothly withoutslipping, which proved that the positioning rotary fishing device and method, as a feasible technical process forfishing the drill pipe of fracture zone bits.
