With the development of the coal industry and the prominence of safety issues, building a solid and efficient emergency response system has become an essential task for coal enterprises to ensure production stability and employee safety. This study aims to explore how to use digital intelligence technology to inject new vigor and effectiveness into the emergency response system of coal enterprises. Firstly, the concepts of digital intelligence technology and empowerment are elaborated in detail. Secondly, the problems of the traditional emergency response system of coal enterprises are analyzed with the help of the “4R” theory of emergency management. Finally,the six aspects of intelligent risk identification, real-time monitoring, and early warning, intelligent emergency response plan, virtual simulation training, intelligent resource scheduling, and information sharing and collaboration are analyzed. Finally, it constructs a digital intelligence-enabled coal enterprise emergency response system, and also analyses the challenges in the implementation process, and gives relevant suggestions to further stimulate the empowering role of digital intelligence technology and promote the construction of a coal enterprise emergency response system.
